ALAN
"Richo" RICHARDSON
From Model Auto Review: Sydney Model Auto Club
life member Alan Richardson died 13th April, 2001,
while visiting a friend in hospital when he complained of
chest pains, and went immediately to Casualty. In spite
of CPR administered by the staff, he passed away at the
age of 61, due to unsuspected hardening of the arteries.
'Richo' was a colourful character, and ran the Granville
Swapmeet on behalf of the Club.
RICHARD FITZGERALD
Richard ran RICHARD'S BOOKS at The Entrance; the old
yellow building is still in operation, run by his wife
Val. We always used to look forward to seeing Richard and
a nicer bookseller and mate couldn't be found in country
NSW. Taken from us at the early age of 59, never to be
forgotten.
The events
listed here usually relate to NSW, Australia (but we WILL
include events from OTHER STATES, if you send them in!).
